This is my second year reading Black Library novels and I consider myself still very inexperienced in the 40k lore. I had the opportunity to read through the first book of Black Library's Eisenhorn Omnibus today, and I have to admit that it makes for an entertaining read. The Inquisitor Eisenhorn trilogy by Dan Abnett has proven to be one of the most popular series of books within the 40K line of the Black Library publication, and February 25th sees, for the first time, the individual release of the short story Missing in Action. Eisenhorn: Malleus & Hereticus by Dan Abnett posted on the Books discussion board by Werthead. Set within the timeline of Dan Abnett's mostly excellent Eisenhorn omnibus, which is one of the classics of Black Library fiction and a very good introductory set of novels to get your feet with the Warhammer 40,000 setting. While previously only available as part of the Eisenhorn Omnibus, this short story will soon be released as an e-publication, alongside another Eisenhorn story Backcloth for a Crown Additional. I've bought a 54mm Eisenhorn figure, and he's currently sitting in bits in a drawer at my parents' house. Inquisitor Eisenhorn is one on the most senior members of the Imperial Inquisition. Prospect: a sci-fi epic comprising seven hundred and fifty pages of densely packed text in three novels and two linking short stories, set in the deep and almost impenetrable mythos of Games Workshop's Warhammer 40k. To defeat his enemies, which also risks cliche until Abnett throws a couple of clever curve-balls towards the reader in the closing chapters (the motivations of the antagonist are well-thought-out, making good use of the Warhammer 40,000 universe though, once again, foreknowledge of The book is available as part of the Eisenhorn omnibus now in the UK and USA. In the second book of Whilst I might have liked Ravenor a bit less if I were reading the book when it came out - it's very slightly lacking in closure - as the first third or so of an omnibus it's pretty damn good. Ultramarines Omnibus Grey Knights Omnibus Space Wolves 1st Omnibus Ciaphas Cain Omnibus Eisenhorn Omnibus Ravenor Omnibus Blood Angels Omnibus Warrior Brood Warrior Coven Dark Apostle Dark Disciple Daemon World Fulgrim Empire Nagash the Sorcerer Malekith Warhammer 40,000. I've always loved the I'm reading through the omnibus again (just finished Xenos myself), so great to see some new Eisenhorn art! In the grim far future, the Inquisition moves amongst mankind like an avenging shadow, striking down daemons, aliens and heretics with uncompromising ruthlessness. Your Price: $7.45- Eisenhorn (A Warhammer 40,000 Omnibus). The thing I have always liked about the Warhammer 40000 universe is its very interesting backstory and its huge scope. Totally worth it: 40k 2nd edition Codex Chaos - As you may have realised by now, Totally Worth It as a series is as much about forgotten or unjustly maligned gems of tabletop wargaming as it is about the 3 days ago. I have recently been quite enjoying the Warhammer 40000 omnibus 'Eisenhorn'. Dan Abnett's first Warhammer 40,000 trilogy centred around the activities of the Imperial Inqusition, Eisenhorn, by and large had a laser-sharp focus on the main character, but one of the more memorable supporting characters was Ravenor, Eisenhorn's apprentice.
